Week 4 – Jeff Maness – September 30, 2018
Just because I have a spiritual gift doesn’t mean I’ll use it well. God has given each of us a spiritual gift, but until I know the right things about the gifts it won’t matter that I have them. In this message we look at some powerful truths about our spiritual gifts.

1 Corinthians 12:7 7 A spiritual gift is given to each of us…

1 Peter 4:7-10 7 The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers. 8 Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins. 9 Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay. 10 God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.

Romans 12:5 4 Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.
1 Corinthians 12:22 22 In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary.
2. They aren’t from me
1 Corinthians 12:4 4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all.
1 Peter 4:11a 11 Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies.
1 Peter 4:11b Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.
3. They shouldn’t fuel me
