Romans 12:1a And so,…

For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen. And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. (Romans 11:36-12:1)

1. I sacrifice my body

Romans 12:2a 2a Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.

2. I sacrifice my behavior

2 Corinthians 5:17 17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! All old principles and practices are gone. The present, visible change is undeniable. They have a new life. Their whole tenor of action and conversation is new, and they live as it were in a new world. — Joseph Benson Commentary

Romans 12:2b Then (when you sacrifice your body and behavior) you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

3. I sacrifice my becoming (Pad goes here)

1 Timothy 2:3-4 3 This is good and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth.
