Throughout culture tension is thought to exist between the Old Testament God and the New. Readers of the bible question the theme from a precursory and light reading of the Old Testament text, conclude that God may have become much kinder in the New Testament as opposed to the Old. However if, God’s character is the same throughout time why is this a common misconception?
